A classic winter riding accessory to add to your cycling wardrobe. Combining the performance and sustainable benefits of Merino wool and an innovative opening at the back for those with long & short hair. The beanie is designed to sit comfortably under a helmet. The beanie offers a neat fit, while sitting low at the front and ears, giving superb comfort and warmth for colder rides.

Fabric

67% Merino wool, 22% polyamide, 11% elastane

Care

Wash at 30 degrees with wool specific or non-biological detergent. Do not iron or tumble dry. Line or hang dry.

Items are shipped from the UK. If you are in the EU please get in touch before you order, as customs fees, duties and taxes will be incurred on these items shipped into the EU.

If for any reason you are not happy with your product, please get in touch with us to return the item. We accept returns within 28 days of delivery, as long as the item is in perfect condition and with the tags still on.

Size Guide

Why we made it:

Made for cool autumn early starts, right through to the depths of winter. We thought it was time to step up our accessories game and build an innovative Beanie, with features that will work for those with long hair.

Made in Italy with a leading cycling manufacturer.

Considered fit

Once again, we ripped up the rule book with this one. Starting off in our London studio, we patterned, tested, tweaked and refitted this one, until we got to the perfect fit.

Intentionally made in two different sizes, to include all head sizes and shapes, we built this item to fit comfortably underneath a helmet and accommodate long hair.
Sitting low on the front and covering the ears at the side, the beanie is designed to work with a range of helmet types, to offer flexibility through the colder months.

Fabric

Using a beautiful Merino wool blend fabric, with elastane for stretch and comfort. Merino wool is one of the most comfortable, warm, easy to wear and care for fibres, so using this high functioning fabric in our third product was key for us.

The fabric originates from Italy and is a leftover fabric. Some people call this deadstock fabric, but we prefer to think of this as a precious resource. Our intention has been to create products as considerately as possible and using a leftover fabric, furthers this mission. We are big advocates in the performance properties Merino wool offers: warm, light, a truly circular fibre and biodegradable.

With this in mind we also considered our thread choice for this item and have used a thread that is an eco-friendly regenerated fibre, made from sustainably sourced wood pulp. The thread used on this item is fully biodegradable and compostable due to its cellulosic origin.

Reflective detail

The addition of a reflective flag label at the rear of the hat, assists in low light conditions.
