Made from a beautiful lightweight recycled Japanese Nylon fabric and handmade by our manufacturing partner Mend Assembly, based in the incredibly stunning South West England.
This bag ticks so many of the cycling boxes. We first dreamed this up on our way back from a ride and desperately wanted to stop at the shop to pick up some chocolate milk. How many times have you been out for a ride and ridden past an amazing shop and wanted to pick up supplies. Or on the other hand, we have used this item on super long rides, it’s so useful for extra capacity. Doing an overnighter, this bag is perfect for those car park picnic hauls. Or you can use it as a packing cube and stash any laundry/ toiletries you want to separate.
So many options!
There is a two way zip at the top of the bag, with custom reflective zip pullers for easy access to your snacks. On the side, there is also a side pocket, with a double sided zip - so the bag can pack into its own pocket. The pocket has a daisy chain webbing so you use voile straps to loop the bag to your bike or you can attach it to a rucksack or waist pack strap for carrying. There is also a reflective flag label for added visibility.
All internal seams are bound to make it beautifully neat inside.
The front of the back has the Petrichor Projects reflective flag label, as well as our reflective sew on tape on the base, for added visibility.
We built this with Women in mind, so the proportions are built for a Woman’s frame. The back panel of the back is cut shorter than most standard backpacks and you’ll find the straps are more narrow than standard packs.(However, this will also work great for Men too) We felt it was time to build something truly great for Women first !
